The artist Alfio Antico derives from a peasant family in Sicily and did work as shepherd until the age of 18. In his youth the tambourine was his best friend. He did learn the tambourine as a child by his grandmother. He did even build his first own tambourine out of an old flour sifter and with leather tanned by himself. | ||||||
